enter its pictorial space
and start dreaming

Most of the current special exhibits at the A.I.C.
don't interest me any more
than the view of a suburban strip mall

But this one feels like a pool
of fresh water
in some remote wilderness
and I think I'll just get naked,
dive in,
and float for a while

BTW - I'm sorry my photos have cropped off the top of the piece,
but it was enclosed in a glass case
and I could only shoot it by getting close enough
to press the camera lens against the glass.
