but as I was closing the shop tonight,
a customer alerted me
to the Anita O'Day video
on U-tube

(taken from young Bert Stern's

I feel like I've had a taste of heaven.

The day - the crowd - the costume - the face
and the incredible artistry.

Every moment sparkles.

If I could watch videos like this 24 hours a day,
I would starve to death at my computer desk.
