Stopping by the S.O.R.A. openhouse yesterday (School of Representational Art) ---
I discovered the amazing talent of Grigor Eftimov:




This is an academic drawing that would not be ashamed to hang beside the best examples found from the Paris ateliers of the 19th and 18th Century:




And this is a very strong portrait -- even if it's veering toward a characature.

Grigor has a blogsite here, and it's pretty apparent that he could have a stellar career in illustration, cartooning, storyboards, portraiture, animation -- probably anything in the graphic arts.

But will he have a career making things that are beautiful ?
